“THROUGH LIFE” INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF TEXTILE ART

Primarily red works due to the theme of life and death and what red means for the cultures of the world. The exhibition is one of the largest and most heterogeneous samples of an artistic medium that has been held in Colombia in recent times. Includes works  by 44 artists from 27 countries and 5 continents from “Through Life” each author, through his own culture and conceptual axis, proposing a look at the country and its life.

Curated by Yosi Anaya, PhD textile artist and curator, senior researcher at the Universidad Veracruzana, Mexico.  Also curating by Maria Ortega, cultural manager and spanish textile artist. Ceci Arango, textile designer and artist, cultural entrepreneur and art manager.“Through Life”  brings together 45 artists from around the world  and is an extension of the participation of some WTA (World Textile Art) artists in the Korea Fiber Art Forum in South Korea and in the Korea Fiber Art Biennial in Louisville in 2023.
