Fernando Llort was born in San Salvador, El Salvador, in 1949 and passed away in 2018. He was a painter and ceramicist known for his colorful and folk-inspired works. Llort’s style was heavily influenced by the indigenous communities of El Salvador, and he often used bright colors and bold patterns in his pieces. His most famous work is the creation of a vibrant mural at the Catedral Metropolitana in San Salvador.
