Eligio Corpus Suárez, an island painter who inspires his works in nature, the fauna and flora of his native San Andrés, is one of the most important plastic artists in the insular region. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts of the National University of Costa Rica. He managed to have his works travel around the world on the Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship and also managed to portray the cultural traditions of the islanders with his frenetic mix of colors, inspired by the beauty of the crystalline waters of the island and typical houses full of beautiful stories. Egresado de la Escuela de Bellas Artes de la Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica. Logró que sus obras le dieran la vuelta al mundo en el barco crucero Queen Elizabeth II y consiguió además figurar las tradiciones culturales de los isleños con su mezcla frenética de colores, inspirada en la belleza de las aguas cristalinas de la isla y casas típicas llenas de hermosos relatos.
