Angel Almendrales painter, engraver, sculptor, comes from El Banco Magdalena, a fishing village and from a family with many deficiencies where being an artist was not an option to survive and studying was not a priority, considered one of the best plastic artists in the Caribbean Region and Angel obtained the ‘Life and Work’ award from the Secretary of Culture and the Arts -Fodca- of Santa Marta. His works have been exhibited in museums in China, the United States, Cuba, Canada.

Angel Almendrales  pintor, grabador, escultor, viene de El Banco Magdalena, un pueblo de pescadores y de una familia con muchas carencias donde ser artista no era una opción para sobrevivir y estudiar no era prioridad, considerado uno de los mejores artistas plásticos de la Región Caribe y de Colombia, Angel obtuvo el premio ‘Vida y Obra’ de la secretaria de Cultura  y las Artes -Fodca- de  Santa Marta. Sus obras han sido expuestas en museos de China, Estados Unidos, Cuba Canadá.
