Abel Rodríguez Muinane, a representative indigenous artists of the national plastic. Abel Rodríguez is part of the Nonuya people who inhabit Amazonian territories, and whose linguistic family is Bora, one of the five endangered languages in Colombia. ITS indigenous name is Mogaje Guihu, which means “Resplendent Hawk Feather”. Abel Rodríguez, the “Plant Namer”, received the important Prince Claus Award in 2014, with which the Dutch government distinguishes artists whose work is considered exceptional.
