JOAQUÍN RESTREPO EXHIBITS AT THE REAL CÍRCULO, BARCELONA.

“Xiuxiueigs” translates Whispers from Catalan. The event will have a space to reflect through sculptures that combine classic with modern. The Colombian sculptor Joaquín Restrepo arrives in European territory with his work. The integration of different sensory experiences, becomes a catharsis, a “modern confessional,” in his words. A unique experience where secrets and hidden identities are revealed through a process of confession and transformation, inspired by the works of Erving Goffman and Stephen Grosz. This space, known for being one of the artistic epicenters of the city and where even Picasso was a partner, provides the perfect backdrop for an exhibition that promises to be unforgettable.
