Arts Connection at Miami

“The Forbidden Fruit: Object of Desire” is a multidisciplinary exhibition that revolves around the theme of the pomegranate as the most sumptuous and enigmatic of forbidden fruits, with contemporary applications in culture, art, and politics. The pomegranate serves as a powerful visual symbol, challenging the various conventional notions used to negatively attack the LGBTQ+ community through harsh legislation.

The Unity Coalition will bring together the LGBTQ community and celebrate the exhibition with a live painting session by artist Ejaz (Instagram: @huliganejaz_art).

This celebration is a testament to the power of art to foster inclusion, understanding and love within diverse communities and is the product of collaboration between Arts Connection Foundation, Food of War US and the Fuentes Angarita Collection. The exhibition culminates with a vibrant LGBTQ community event and live painting.
