Armory Show and Independent 20th Century

The Armory Show will be held for the third time in a new location at the Javits Center after Labor Day. While the list of exhibitors has not been finalized yet, the fair is expected to maintain its growth from the previous year, when it had more than 240 exhibitors. There is no information available yet regarding the participation of Latin American galleries or artists. For the 2023 edition, the fair has enlisted three well-known curators, Eva Respini, Candice Hopkins, and Adrienne Edwards, to organize the special programming that will focus on historical narratives. Along with The Armory Show, Independent 20th Century will also take place concurrently, highlighting art from that period and featuring over 30 exhibitors.
