ARCOmadrid

ARCOmadrid 2025 is just around the corner, and from March 5–9, Madrid will once again transform into the epicenter of contemporary art. This year marks the fair’s 44th edition, headlined by an Amazon-focused central project. More than 200 galleries will set up shop—plus two dazzling curated sections spotlighting up-and-coming galleries and Latin American art—firmly cementing ARCOmadrid as one of Europe’s most exciting art events.

Organized by IFEMA MADRID, ARCOmadrid 2025 welcomes 206 galleries and over 1,300 artists from all corners of the globe, with a special emphasis on Latin American and Brazilian art. Twenty Brazilian galleries will join the party, showcasing the country’s artistic diversity—from established modernist legends to next-level contemporary visionaries.

Meanwhile, the Profiles | Latin American art section highlights the strong historical ties between ARCOmadrid and the Latin American scene. Curator José Esparza Chong Cuy has been hard at researching and assembling a lineup of 10 stellar artists, each represented by a single gallery. Get ready to discover names like Bárbara Sánchez Kane (Kurimanzutto), Dan Lie (Barbara Wien), Chaveli Sifre (Embajada), Mariela Scafati (Isla Flotante), Jota Mombaça (Martins&Montero), Ofelia Rodriguez (Instituto de Visión), and Rember Yahuarcani (Crisis)—the latter two also featured in the additional section Wametisé: Ideas for an Amazofuturism.

Expect a great range of home and abroad galleries that show new ideas and fresh suggestions. Apart from the busy art market scene, ARCOmadrid offers a place where creative people meet to start new explorations, think deeply, and study art. So mark your calendars—this fair is your chance to soak up all the innovation and inspiration the contemporary art world has to offer!
