Square ana consuelo suarez foto

Ana´s abstract paintings are designed as a conceptual global environmental warning. She is an artists that studied fine Arts at the National University of Colombia, dedicated to painting. Currently the art manager, director of Capitalizarte, founded to support national and international visual and plastic artists by exposing their works and promoting culture through artistic and research projects. Ana Consuelo, “Atmospheres”, a series of paintings about global warming, expresses deep concerns about our world’s delicate ecosystems and the conflict between nature and culture. In the paintings, she employs a palette of terrestrial impenetrable blacks, ocher, reddish to subtly shift, float, dissolve, and illuminate. In most cases, the color fields hold a directional light that transpire, the perspective is deliberately ambiguous, forcing the forms into close interaction. The contrasting soil texture imitaties the visual world. Her palette and tone reveal a seductive luminosity, while marveling at the unique and nuanced light held by each work, showing the result of some terrible environmental disaster caused by humans. The art world has been slow to grasp the significance of climate change, so you could argue that these series represent a dramatic awakening. National and international exhibitions in Poland Jaslo, Krakow, Olesnica, Warsaw, Cuba, Mexico, United States. Exhibition manager in Bogotá and Pereira
